Dynamic Pricing

If you would like to activate Dynamic Pricing, please contact Support (support@waldhart.at) or your consultant directly.

Together, we can then configure Dynamic Pricing according to your wishes!

Automatic:

With automatic dynamic pricing, prices can be linked to a specific pre-booking time. For example, the course is 10% cheaper if it is booked more than 30 days before the start of the course. In this case, the price depends on the booking date.

In order to use automatic dynamic pricing, you must first tick Activate dynamic pricing and Automatic under Tools – Settings – Skischool – Sale options in the Dynamic pricing tab.

Next, the prices for the respective items must be adjusted.

The maximum price (= base price) is specified for this.

To do this, the relevant items are marked in the list of items and adjusted by clicking on EditChange prices by x%.

Alternatively, the price can of course also be increased manually.

To do this, select the relevant item and click on Specify price. The price for the item can be defined accordingly.

The prices at the bottom of the overview will now change accordingly:

In addition, a from-price is displayed in the overview. This allows you to check whether the reduced price falls below the minimum price.

The reference price is the price that was deposited before the increase.

The individual categories are visible under Basic configuration — Dynamic pricing categories. At least one category is required here. The Default category is stored by default. If different rules are to apply to different products (e.g. different percentages are to be stored for group courses than for private courses), additional Dynamic pricing categories can be created.

A new category is created by clicking on the icon. The display name of the category can be entered in the name field. An existing category can be edited with the icon.

If a Dynamic Pricing Category is selected, new associated rules can be defined by clicking on . This opens a new window in which the rules are listed.

A new rule can be added by clicking on the symbol.

The number of days that the guest must book in advance in order to receive the percentage deduction entered in the Percentage field is entered in the Days before field.

In the example in the screenshot, the guest must book at least 30 days before the start of the course in order to receive a 10% discount on the base price.

As soon as changes are recognized in the Dynamic Pricing Categories, the following message appears:

An export is then made directly to the platform.
The following query must be confirmed with "Yes".

The individual articles can now be configured under Seasons settings – List of Items. In order for dynamic pricing to be used, the use Dynamic Pricing checkbox must be ticked on page 1.

In addition, the price category dropdown field on page 4 must be filled in accordingly.

Click OK to adjust the prices in the List of Items accordingly.

The base price is the price defined under Specify Price. The normal price is the price calculated by Dynamic Pricing. This is always based on today's date.

This means that if the course from the screenshot is booked today, and it starts on July 7th 2024, the course would cost 183.35 euros.

After an export under Data – Export – Export Platform (Onlineshop), the prices are also adjusted accordingly in the online shop.

Nothing else needs to be adjusted in ConfigClient or Typo3.

Manual:

Attention! This mode is only suitable for experts!

With manual dynamic pricing, prices can be adjusted for a specific date or period. For example, a course that starts in the Christmas week is 10% more expensive. It doesn't matter how far in advance the course is booked.

In order to use manual dynamic pricing, you must first tick Activate dynamic pricing and Manual under Tools – Settings – Skischool – Sale options in the Dynamic pricing tab.

The percentages stored here can be customised as required. Up to 5 different percentages can be stored at the same time.

The calendar opens under Basic configuration – Dynamic pricing categories – Calendar.

You can switch between the individual dynamic pricing categories in the dropdown and define the rules for each category individually.

A Dynamic pricing category can now be selected in the annual calendar.

By selecting a specific period or individual days, a percantage can be assigned accordingly by clicking on one of the predefined percentages.

Click on the button Export Platform (Onlineshop) to transfer the prices to the online shop.

For manual dynamic pricing, it is also important that the use dynamic pricing checkbox is ticked for the respective items on page 1 under Seasons settings – List of Items. It is also essential to define a Dynamic pricing category on page 4.

In the price overview, a base price is only displayed for the period in which a percentage is stored in the calendar.

After an export under Data - Export - Export Platform (Onlineshop), the prices are also adjusted accordingly in the store.

Nothing else needs to be adjusted in the ConfigClient or in Typo3.
