We are currently optimizing the sending of emails from our products to make delivery even more reliable - regardless of the email provider used.
The aim is to send all emails from our products with AWS (Amazon Web Services) in future so that they can be sent more reliably and independently of different email providers. This solution provides a stable technical basis, particularly with regard to future changes such as the new Microsoft authentication.
What is AWS?
AWS, or Amazon Web Services, is a comprehensive cloud computing platform provided by Amazon. It offers a variety of services, including computing power, data storage, and email delivery. By using AWS, we can significantly improve the reliability and efficiency of our services, including WS SPORTS.
For emails to be sent from WS SPORTS and our other solutions via AWS, certain DNS entries are required. These entries enable email delivery using your domain.
What do I need to do?
You will receive a list of the required DNS entries from us. These DNS entries must be configured through the interface of your domain provider. Instructions on how to do this are usually available on your provider's website. If you need assistance, your IT technician or web hosting provider can certainly help.
Important to know
- Your existing mailbox remains unchanged.
- All your email clients (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail) remain unaffected.
- No adjustments are needed on your PC or any other software.
Once the DNS entries are correctly configured, emails from WS SPORTS and our other solutions can be sent via AWS. This will enhance the performance and reliability of email communication.
